4

Located in the heart of the resort community of Paradise Valley, the plunge beach hotel is a great option for your next vacation. With a dog-friendly policy, a Fitness center, and offbeat decor, you’ll feel right at home. The hotel even has a pool with a pool bar for those hot afternoons.

Fitness center

Located on the eastern end of Long Beach, the Plunge Beach Resort is a short stroll from the likes of the Funky Buddha Brewery and Anglins Fishing Pier. The resort features two meeting rooms and a surface parking lot. Its 163 rooms are spread across two floors. The property also boasts an outdoor pool and a fitness center. Among its other amenities are a restaurant and bar/lounge. Its most appealing feature, however, may well be its location. Its proximity to the downtown core is one of its biggest strengths, though the neighborhood is also home to a number of upscale hotels and resorts.

While Plunge Beach Resort is not short on amenities, it does not boast the best deals on rooms and meals. A quick check of rates on TripAdvisor suggests that prices can be steep for the area, though you can find bargains if you know where to look. The perks of staying at this hotel include free breakfast, free WiFi, and a convenient location near several area attractions.

Dog-friendly policy

Guests can leave their pets in their rooms, which have pet-friendly features like pet beds, food and water bowls, leashes, doggy hangers, and more. Pets can also be left unattended in the hotel’s pet relief area, a grassy area where they can rest.

The Mandarin Oriental on Brickell Key, a waterfront resort, has a dog-friendly policy. The hotel offers a special canine-friendly dinner menu and walks for an extra fee.

Pets are permitted in the hotel’s Palm Garden and Palm Garden Terrace. They’re also permitted in the main restaurant, Open Sesame. The hotel’s corridors are dog-friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious. Some rooms have private balconies.

Plunge Beach Resort allows two dogs under 40 pounds per room. They’re also allowed on the beach during the day from September 16 to May 14. But dogs are not allowed between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to September 15. The hotel has enhanced cleaning measures, such as physical barriers between guests and staff, and a pet hand sanitizer station.
